Competitive businesses need communication solutions that can change rapidly. The KX-TDA100 IP PBX helps keep your business on the cutting edge of telephony through the use of ongoing upgradability.
The KX-TDA100 is part of Panasonic's mid-size IP PBX product line known as the 'TDA Series.' Most of the cards are interchangeable between other models within the series and with the KX-TDE Series IP Converged PBX. Features within the series are nearly identical with only the capacities being different.
The KX-TDA100 was intoduced in the year 2000. Since then, it has undergone four (4) software revisions. Many of these systems have been upgraded to the new KX-TDE series processor, which is our top-of-the-line, most feature-rich processor.
Panasonic KX-TDA100 offers state-of-the art wireless capability designed as part of the system instead of as add-on.
The KX-TDA100 uses only one cabinet. Expansion is possible by switching to the KX-TDA200, KX-TDA600, KX-TDE200 or KX-TDE600 system.
See Maximum System Capacity chart below for more detail.

Note 1: The KX-TDA100 has a total of 96 ports, spread across 6 Free Universal Slots. Universal, meaning any slot can accommodate any type of trunk, extension or option card (with limitations). The density of each card varies by type. For instance ... CO Trunk Cards are available in 8 or 16 trunks per card. ISDN-PRI and T1 cards are available in 23 channels (trunks) per card and 24 channels (trunks) per card respectively. Extensions are available in 8/16 per card or 16/32 using the DXPD feature. Each time you populate a slot with a physical card, you are affecting the ratio of Trunks -to- Extensions. Example: A configuration using all physical slots for 64 trunks means that there is no room for physical extensions or special option cards, such as Door Controllers, UCD/DISA, etc. Likewise, a configuration using all physical slots for 128 extensions means that there is no room for Trunks or special option cards such as Door Controllers, UCD/DISA, etc.

Note 2: Totals are somewhat dynamic. Even though the maximum number of trunks is 96 and the maximum number of extensions is 128, you cannot realize both at the same time since you would run out of slots. Your Panasonic Certified Dealer will help you balance these maximums so as to optimize the system for future growth. The Memory Expansion Card is needed in order to reach 128 wired extensions.
Note 3: A maximum of 128 Wiresless Extensions may be programmed into the KX-TDA100 system, provided you use Panasonic Proprietary Cellular-like Telephones and Panasonic Proprietary Cell Stations.
