What is HEOS?

HEOS is a wireless music system that allows you to control all your music effortlessly from anywhere in your home. All you need is one or more HEOS-enabled AV receivers or speakers and the free app. Plus, HEOS now works with Amazon Alexa voice control.

HEOS by Denon is a Wireless Multi-Room Sound System comprising a family of great-sounding music players for your whole home. There is a free app to control them from your iOS or Android phone or tablet. You can enjoy your favourite streaming music services, internet radio or your own music collection and set-up is a breeze.
The HEOS 3 is a dual driver design with 2 Class D amp channels ideal for small to medium-sized rooms. The HEOS 5 is a 5 driver system with 4 active drivers (dual mid-woofers, dual tweeters) powered by 4 Class D amp channels, along with a passive radiator. It is ideal for medium to large rooms. The HEOS 7 features 7 drivers including dual mid-woofers, dual tweeters and an active sub-woofer, powered by 5 Class D amp channels, along with dual passive radiators. HEOS 7 includes a headphone output. The streaming functionalities, USB and Aux inputs are identical for all models.
You'll need to download the free HEOSbyDenon app on iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 5 or higher or Android smartphone or tablet running Android 2.3 or higher. You will need a wireless network and internet connection and a mobile device connected to the wireless network.
Your HEOS account remembers all your settings and preferences such as all your music service logins and HEOS playlists. When youҤ like to add multiple phone or tablet controllers to your system, you only need to sign in to each new device with your HEOS user name and password. Instantly all your music services and HEOS playlists are available in the new controller too. If you prefer, we support multiple HEOS accounts in a single household. This way, each family member can enjoy their own personalised e.g. Spotify account settings and still share all the same speakers in the home.
HEOS is a true multi-room system. You can play the same song in every room or any combination of rooms you choose, including a different song in every room. These are distinct advantages over other wireless systems such as Airplay and Bluetooth. HEOS uses standard home wireless technology so you can use your existing router without the need for any new equipment such as a bridging device. The wireless range and sound quality is far superior to Bluetooth and any device on your network running the free HEOS app can control every speaker. Only HEOS comes with 100 years of audio expertise from Denon.
All HEOS speakers provide an amazing music experience. Generally, HEOS 7 is suggested for large rooms and open areas such as living rooms, patios, or open-floor-plan homes or any enthusiast who wants the deepest bass and highest output; HEOS 5 for medium to large rooms such as dining rooms, larger bedrooms and offices or smaller living rooms; and HEOS 3 for small to medium sized rooms, such as bedrooms, offices or kitchens.

SCANNING

Make sure there is enough light in the room, so your device’s camera can clearly see the special images.
Make sure you are close enough to the image, so the image is filling your camera’s screen.

DETECTION LOST?

If you move too far from the image, the app might loose tracking. Simply move the camera close enough to the image again, to detect it.

NAVIGATION
